Nine times out of ten I buy beauty related bits and bobs and they never make it on to this blog. I recently started a new job so over the last week or so I've done a bit of a celebratory spending (any excuse). I've collected everything together for a bit of a mini haul/review.
When I left my old team at work they very generously gifted me with some Debenhams vouchers. I absent mindedly strolled in to the store over the weekend and gave Miss Dior a sniff. I have fallen head over heels with this perfume, I keep smelling my wrist and actually can't get over how lovely it is! Expect a full review soon. The purple bottle of perfume (which looks suspiciously like my Marc Jacobs Lola bottle) is called Adored, and I picked it up at a Marks and Spencers outlet for around £7.00. It smells delicious, and because it was so cheap I'm happy bathing myself in it every morning.
I went in to Topshop purely to buy the necklace which I'd had my eye on for a couple of weeks. Whilst there, I browsed the makeup stand and noticed the highlighter cube, which I'd seen in Lily's recent favourite video. Macaroon is raved about in the lipstick world so it went in to my basket too.
I needed another lip balm like I need a hole in the head, but the blogging world has gotten pretty excited about these Nivea Lip Butters and so I bought in to the hype. I initially intended to just buy one, but they all smelt so good that I couldn't resist! They were on 3 for 2 in Boots which eased the guilt a little. Whilst in the skincare section, I finally decided to give the Effaclar Duo a go. I've read brilliant reviews, so fingers crossed it works well for me too. The Origins mask was from a CCO outlet for a bargain £15.00.
The Barry M Gelly nail polishes are everywhere recently, and I really wanted Lychee, but it was out of stock everywhere I went :( so I settled for Green Berry and Papaya instead. Because I didn't have enough rose gold polishes already (really?) I purchased Prim & Proper, and I couldn't resist the bright pink Check Me Out either.
So there we go - a lot of blogger enabled purchases from the look of things! Have you bought anything new recently?
