Another month, another set of wages in and out my bank account, and another credit card statement which fills me with dread. Despite my absolutely dire financial situation, every time pay day rolls around I feel the need to 'treat' myself, and August was no exception.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua is one of my favourite foundations of all - this must be my fourth or fifth repurchase. I've not had this in my stock for a good six months now, so I thought it was about time I made a purchase. If you love a light to medium, healthy finish, give this a try. The Bumble & Bumble Creme de Coco conditioner is also a repurchase, I'd initially bought the travel sized one and liked it so much that I felt the need to shell out for a full size. Parting with that much money broke my heart a little, but this stuff is damn good.
I'm fairly sure I had either Head Over Heels, or a very similar blush, when Topshop first launched their makeup range. I remember loving it, so thought I'd give it another whirl. Another Topshop product which I absolutely adored, and was one of my favourite bases of all time, was their tinted moisturiser, which has since been discontinued. I'm not really a BB girl, but this BB Cream seems to have a similar finish to the tinted moisturiser - I'll keep you updated. Lastly in Topshop, after finally finding a sealed pot of their polish highlighter, I decided to put it back on the shelf in favour of the All Over Glow option. This is a liquid highlighter which seems to be working wonders mixed in with heavier foundations.
After raiding Topshop and eating my own body weight in dough balls at Pizza Express, I headed back to Boots where I added the limited edition Real Techniques brushes and some Elegant Touch Nail Wraps to my collection. This is my first attempt at nail wrapping, and I love it! The Real Techniques brushes have had mixed reviews, but for me it's a case of so far so good. Expect reviews to follow.
So there we have a roundup of the products that will (hopefully) keep my beauty buying whims at bay for the next four weeks. What products are on your pay day wish list?
