Blogmas Day 24: The Christmas Eve Duo

24 December 2013

Every year, I make ambitious plans to have a lengthy pampering session on Christmas Eve, and then real life gets in the way. This year I'll be keeping things simple in the hopes that I manage to fit in a bit of beauty time in between watching Christmas films and drinking a few too mugs of hot chocolate.

I've already spoken about a couple of Lush products which I'll be using on Christmas eve: the Rudolph Fresh Face Mask (which I absolutely love), and the Christmas Eve Bubble Bar. I intend to have a relaxing soak in the tub with both of those products. Once the bubbles from Christmas Eve have disappeared, I'll use the last few drops of my Aromatherapy Associates Revive Evening Oil, which I'm hoping Santa will replace this Christmas.  This is an absolutely beautiful blend of pure oils, it really helps to relax my muscles after a busy day. The scent features geranium and ylang ylang.

Whilst all of this relaxation is taking place, I'll be burning my Christmas Cupcake Yankee Candle. I bought this last year and really enjoy burning it. Yankee Candles aren't the cleanest burn, but this smells like a delicious blend of sugar and vanilla. Plus, the jar is really cute and festive looking. Fingers crossed, the combination of all of the above will help me get a good night's sleep whilst Santa does the rounds.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! Love Josie x

  1. If you've liked LUSH christmas products you should definitely try out their Santa's lip scrub, I just reviewed it on my blog the other day, it is amazing and has a coca cola flavour and small hearts in it, all edible! :) Wish I had a yankee candle right now :D
